Our Ministry Vision

A CALLING TOGETHER

How it all began…

Keven and DeAnna’s journey in worship ministry began in college, where DeAnna led as a vocalist and Keven played guitar. Influenced by artists like Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, and Rebecca St. James, they pursued a calling to perform worship and contemporary Christian music. Their journey included recording a demo of rock/contemporary Christian music and engaging with a small record label. However, when asked to commit to a touring lifestyle, they chose instead to focus on building a family—an even greater calling, in their opinion.

While raising their children, Keven and DeAnna continued to develop their musical abilities, serving individually as worship leaders and seizing opportunities to lead music together. Inspired now by artists like Passion, Elevation Worship, and Brandon Lake, they aim to merge their past experiences with a renewed vision, recapturing their original calling.

NOW IS THE TIME

Our vision for These Creative Things…

These Creative Things is dedicated to sharing hope and joy through worship and contemporary Christian music. We aim to record and produce music for digital platforms, perform at local and regional events, and inspire others with our faith-driven creativity.

Our goal is to grow into a full band, lead worship at large events and conventions, and bring people closer to God through transformative worship experiences. With an eye on the future, we remain committed to merging past experiences with a vibrant vision for ministry.

Unexpected Help

A family effort…

Our children’s remarkable musical talents have become a vital part of this journey. Our son, a music technology student and digital composer with albums on Spotify under the name Kairuku, will play an integral role as our producer for both live and studio recordings.

Our daughter, a gifted drummer and singer influenced by Jen Ledger, contributes her skills to our live performances whenever her ballet schedule allows. We see their involvement as a continuation of God’s work in our family, creating a ministry that’s truly a collaborative effort.
